PLATINUM P.R.I.D.E.
PRESERVE • RESTORE • INTEGRATE • DISTINGUISH • ENRICH
As Platinum Services, Inc. flourished, it became clear that a larger facility
would be needed to house the growing number of employees and to
provide space for training sales representatives.
In step with Platinum's mission to help its customers preserve their
heritage and conserve their resources, Platinum's founders chose to
purchase and renovate an old building in downtown Dubuque.
2003 marked the beginning of a profound transformation for this
old candy factory that throughout its history provided a home for several
businesses including the Lawther Candy Co., Sheridan Candy Co, Paper
Products Co., Sears & Roebuck and Weber Paper Co.
In addition to breathing new life into the building, the history of the
Platinum building was reverently archived and gracefully displayed on
the building's first floor. This grand old building now serves as a
functional and inspiring space to work and has contributed to the
revitalization of Dubuque's historic downtown.
